Lego Notes

  Notes for Tuesday, Sept. 5 2023

What we did:

- We went to the website, "Lego Education" and had to choose an activity for Metro Elementary.

- We (my partner Alyssa and I) chose to do an activity called Plants and Pollinators that is specific for grades 1-5 Intermediate level.

- We went over our Calendar for the semester (Fall 23) and found out important deadlines and important assignments.

- During the last hour to an hour and a half, my partner and I started building our robot step-by-step.


Goals:

- My goal for the next class is to have our item (robot) completed. We have 51 steps to follow in order for our robot to be finished.

- We also want to be successfully prepared for our meet at Metro Elementary, so we will be doing as much research and homework to be ready on Sept. 25.

- Another goal is to be able to meet up at least 1-2 times outside of class so we can work together on the project and be able to be on the same page.


Extra  Notes:

- Download Spike app on computer for our robot to be able to create and control sound, noises, etc.

- Print picture cards (located on the website page) to have ready for the meet at Metro Elementary.

- Exit ticket for tonight = get started on Activity.

- Portfolio = Due on Saturday, Sept. 9th.

AI STaR Hero Journey

AI-Generated Flower Designs (20 minutes) Objective: Students will use technology and artificial intelligence to create their own unique flower designs based on the characteristics they learned about different types of soil.
